Calvary has participated in collecting boxes for the past several years. These shoe boxes have been taken around the world to needy kids. Along with receiving these Christmas gifts, the kids are invited to participate in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson program that introduces boys and girls to salvation through faith in Christ. This year we are having a Church wide OCC packing party. On Friday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Royal Room, come help us pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We have the items and shoe boxes to pack, though donations are welcome. Snacks will be provided! You can also help pay for the shipping of these boxes by clicking here.
Calvary also has the privilege of serving as a Drop Off Center for Operation Christmas Child for southeast Nebraska again this year! Our church will be collecting shoe boxes from groups and individuals in Lincoln and surrounding areas. As shoe boxes come to our church, we will pack them into cartons and ship them to a larger collection facility. National Collection Week is November 13-20.
